Eligibility for IISER 2026
Candidates are encouraged to review the IISER 2026 eligibility requirements that must be met in order to sit for the test before completing the IAT 2026 application form.
- To apply for the IISER aptitude test in 2026, a candidate must be an Indian citizen, PIO, or OCI. The JEE (Advanced) channel is the only way for candidates who are not Indian nationals, PIOs, or OCIs to apply for admission.
- Candidates must have passed the science-streamed Class 12 (or equivalent) exam in 2024 or 2026 from a board approved by the Indian Council of Boards of School Education (CBSE).
- During their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam, candidates must have taken at least three subjects from the following categories: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates must have received at least 55 percent of the possible points in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam. It is required of candidates from other categories to have received at least 60% of the possible points in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.
How to Fill IISER Entrance Exam 2026 Application Form?
The second week of March 2026 will mark the opening of the IISER application form 2026. By going to the official website, interested candidates can complete the IAT 2026 registration form online. Applicants must first register before they can complete the application.
